Health Equity Innovation Challenge

Our Health Equity Innovation Challenge is supporting innovators to improve health equity through innovation.

Across South West England, different population groups are experiencing variations in health and careincluding accessibility and quality of care, opportunities for a healthy life, and empowerment to manage their own health. Our work is focused on identifying and spreading innovative practice to generate improvements to health equity and patient outcomes.

Our Health Equity Innovation Challenge, launched in October 2021, is aiming to facilitate the implementation of developed health equity innovations into relevant health and/or care settings, providing real-world evaluation support to generate the evidence needed to bring the innovation to market. The Challenge is working to support innovations with promise to improve health equity outcomes within perinatal health and children and young people's mental health in the South West population.
