Senior Delivery Manager
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000, dependent upon experience
Contract type: 6 month fixed term contract
Hours/Shift pattern: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The South West Academic Health Science Network (SW AHSN) is one of 15 Academic Health Science Network (AHSN) organisations in England. Our purpose is to work with health and social organisation in testing, developing and spreading innovative practice and knowledge across the region.
Our team is working towards successfully delivering a number of portfolios that focus on national, regional and local projects. This involves extensive engagement with stakeholders and strong advocacy for the innovations that will benefit the population of the South West of England.
This role will work within a vibrant, energetic team and work closely with the Innovation Exchange team to take responsibility and deliver on a number of work streams including:
- the development of a new Accelerator programme
- providing support for innovators including bespoke and more intensive support
- the development of new online content and publications
- supporting the organisation of key events, provide facilitation and feedback
- supporting data collection and activities relating to metrics required by the organisation and the commissioner
- supporting the rapid uptake products and equivalents including stakeholder engagement, intelligence gathering and facilitating discussions between product teams and the organisations purchasing the products
You will be energetic, determined, positive and goal-focussed, with a commitment to delivering excellence in any and all circumstances. You will be the type of person that can engender this attitude in others, leading and motivating those you work with.
You will have experience in digital health and knowledge of what is required for products to be ready for adoption in the NHS and care system. You will be the type of person who can quickly and easily build good working links and relationships with a variety of people, and have experience of working with stakeholders in the NHS.
You will have some fantastic project management experience and knowledge of frameworks such as PRINCE2 or Agile, and LEAN, Six Sigma or the Model for Improvement. You will be comfortable developing and working to performance metrics, have good writing and analysis skills. An ability to work in a fast paced environment with a high aptitude for decision-making and problem solving is also required.
