How we help charities & social enterprises
Our innovation team helps charities and social enterprises speed up the adoption of innovative services into the health and care system.
We work with our network of NHS Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups to identify innovative service models focused on our four key regional priorities.
Innovation Support: we work in collaboration with our partners to support charities and social enterprises to develop their services.
Innovation Hackathons: we provide opportunities for charities and social enterprises to participate in Innovation Hackathons, helping NHS organisations to identify innovative solutions to their challenges and build partnerships.
Funding & Finance: we have established partnerships with funders and investors to finance the testing and development of innovative services from the charity and social enterprise sector.
Partnerships: we facilitate and support partnerships between industry and the NHS to test, develop and adopt innovation in the health and care system.
Transform Ageing: we are partners in a £3.65m Big Lottery Funded programme led by the Design Council, to improve the experience of ageing for people in later life in Cornwall, Devon and Somerset.
Market Access: we support charities and social enterprises with innovative products and services to understand and access the health and care market.
