PERIPrem Antenatal Antibiotics Webinar

This session with Dr Sherry Halawa will focus raising awareness of taking appropriate antibiotics in women with threatened preterm labour.

To launch the inclusion of antenatal antibiotics into the PERIPrem bundle, we are pleased to invite you to join us in discussing and learning in a shared & collaborative environment.

antibiotics graphicDr Sherry Halawa (UHP Consultant Obstetrician) will explore the evidence base, current practice, SW data and facilitate discussion on how to work together as a region to achieve this Maternal & Neonatal Safety Improvement Programme aim to “ increase the proportion of women in threatened preterm labour (<34 weeks gestation) who receive a dose of appropriate IV antibiotics within 6 hours of birth to 95% or greater by 2025”

We would welcome members of all PERIPrem teams, perinatal safety improvement leads, patient representatives and anyone with an interest in perinatal improvement who would like to attend.
