Round two of Innovate UK‘s Digital Health Catalyst (DHTC) opened for applications on the 15 February. Innovate UK will invest up to £8 million in round two for industrial research and experimental development projects.
Funded through the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund, the DHTC is a £35 million fund, being run over four years. The DHTC is an important element of the government’s plans to implement the Accelerated Access Review. It aims to address some of the challenges that the review identified around the development of digital health innovations, and to help grow the digital health sector.
Projects should develop new commercial digital technology solutions to address significant healthcare challenges. A Small or Medium Enterprise (SME) must lead the project in collaboration with at least one other grant-claiming partner.
This event, organised collaboratively between Innovate UK, Plymouth Science Park, University of Plymouth and the South West Academic Health Science Network, is open to SMEs who are looking to make a round two funding application.
Innovate UK will provide an overview of the funding call and how the Knowledge Transfer Network can assist. Further presentations from Plymouth Science Park, University of Plymouth and the South West Academic Health Science Network will detail the support they can provide towards funding proposals.
At the event, SMEs will have the opportunity to give a three-minute pitch about their application idea and what support and/or partners they are seeking.
Refreshments available from 09:30, lunch will be provided.
The event is free of charge. For more information or to register, please click here.
