Overview

NHS Employers are holding a series of free regional events to support their Sustainable Health and Care Campaign for the NHS, public health and social care. The campaign will celebrate the great sustainability work already happening across the health system and it will support the sector to raise the profile of interventions that deliver health, efficiency, environmental and social benefits across the NHS, public health and social care.

This event will support you to raise awareness and think about what activities you might like to do during the Sustainability Week in June. You will look at local action and what’s happening in your region and there will be the opportunity to network and share good practice. The Sustainable Development Unit will also provide an update on the latest tools and resources you can use such as the Sustainable Development Assessment Tool and the Health Outcomes Travel Tool.

The second event will take place in Bristol on 13 March. The other events are as follows: Leeds – 27 February, Manchester – 11 April, London – 18 April, and Birmingham – 8 May.
