External: Cornwall – Transform Ageing’s Jam Session for Social Entrepreneurs
September 18 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Musicians are renowned for being creative and often come together in Jam Sessions to create new music together. Taking inspiration from musician’s jamming, Transform Ageing want to get social entrepreneurs together to create innovative ideas, collaborate and help each other.
Facilitated by Sam Alford and Tim Lages be prepared to bring your business models, or any ideas you have, to this session, write these down, pitch and then get contributions from others in the room.
This will be supported by useful tools for reviewing your proposition, pitching and they will even introduce the theory of change.
This is an entire day designed for all those interested in Transform Ageing. You may already be a social entrepreneur or someone with ideas about how to make a difference to the experience of later life who might become one!
The session is suitable for both social entrepreneurs and the future social entrepreneur. Transform Ageing hope it will carve out some thinking space for you to explore the change you wish to see, why it is important to you, and how your solution can have a lasting impact.
You are welcome to bring along a member of your team as it is an opportunity to step out of your Social Enterprise for a day and critically examine your goals in the company of others who are on a similar journey.
Tim and Sam will be available from 15.00 – 16.00 for short one to one sessions for anyone seeking further advice. There will be a limited number of slots, booked on a first come, first served basis.
