NHS: Partnerships with innovators
Introducing innovative products and services often requires the development of partnerships between NHS organisations and external agencies.
Our team help facilitate and support the development of partnerships to test, develop and adopt innovation into their organisations.
We typically facilitate four forms of partnership between NHS organisations, industry and the charity and social enterprise sector:
Clinical Trials: working with our partners at the National Institute for Healthcare Research South West Clinical Research Network (NIHR SW CRN) who provide a dedicated service to facilitate the evaluation of new drugs, therapies and medical technology devices.
Pre-procurement Partnerships: supporting NHS organisations to develop partnerships focused on testing, developing and evaluating the impact of innovation in real-world settings.
Commissioning Partnerships: supporting commissioners to develop approaches that improve the adoption of innovation. This work includes supporting commissioners to develop outcomes-based commissioning models focused on targeted-population health improvement.
Procurement Partnerships: working with procurement teams to identify innovative products and services based on their procurement requirements and developing new models of procurement to encourage innovation.
